Taba Peterside holds a B.A. (Hons.) Development Studies (Economics) from the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK, and an MDE (Master Dev. Econ.) Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She has held management roles in several financial services organizations notable of which are Program Manager, International Finance Corporation, Accra, Ghana, and General Manager, Nigerian Stock Exchange a role which she held from 2008 to 2015.

She is currently the CEO and Principal Promoter, of Waveline Growth Partners, a Microfinance institution, focused on using technology to promote financial inclusion, especially among female entrepreneurs. She is also a Director, of Nigerian International Securities Limited, an Executive Council Member, of Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ), and a member Institute of Directors (IOD).
